The Tampa-Hillsborough Public Library has access to the Tampa Tribune (1895-2016), the Florida Sentinel Bulletin (1947-2008), and the St. Petersburg Times/Tampa Bay Times (1901-present) newspapers. It also has access to historical area city directories.

Please note:
- Obituary research requests are limited to three (3) per submission.
- We cannot research without a date of death, and we will only search the paper for the week following that date.
- Sometimes the information you are seeking may not have been published in the newspaper.
You can expect a response by e-mail with the results of our research within 14 days. There is no charge for this service, but you are welcome to make a donation to the Friends of the Tampa Hillsborough Public Library should you wish.
